She was past president of the Brandywine Cedarettes, the Ladies Oriental Shrine, Order of Eastern Star Five Points Chapter 49, and a 51-year member and past president of Christiana Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Christiana United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Ben Cleaver; two daughters, Patricia Ann McCall of Newark, and F. Lillian Cleaver of Christiana, two brothers, Edward E. Jackson of Massachusetts Square, Pa. Mr. DePaoli was a tile setter and later a self-employed mushroom grower.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Italian-American Club, Kennett Square, arid the Bricklayers Allied Craftworkers Local 1 of PennsylvaniaDelaware. He is survived by his wife of 48 Cirs, Albina DePaoli; a daughter, ry Callen, a brother, John, and a sister, Theresa Ricchiuti, all of Kennett Square, and two grandchildren. JOHN DOUTHWAITE, 85, of Aston, Pa. died Wednesday. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, Pennell Road and Lamp Post Lane, Aston.

Mr. Douthwaite was an auto mechanic for Sun Oil Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Pyle Douthwaite; three sons, John of Aston, Larry of Littlestown, and Fred of Wilmington, four daughters, Kathy Wegrzyn and Deborah Wentworth, both of Aston, Jennie Ferguson of Park-side, and Janice Turner of West Chester, two brothers, Tom of Portland, and Bill of Ridley Park, two sisters, Katherine Douthwaite and Mar and Roy F. He moved to George town, in 1946 and worked for Jewel Townsend, raising chickens for a number of years. He retired from Cargil Poultry, now Allen Family Foods, in 1974. His wife, Sophia Blount Gibbs, is deceased. He is survived by three sons, Golden of Harbeson, and William and Johnny, both of Georgetown, a daughter, Hat-tie Durogene of Ellendale, brother, James of Georgetown, three brothers, David of Georgetown, George of Ellen- dale, and Amos ot the Bronx, N.Y.; and 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. CYRIL GORDON, 75, of New Castle, died Tuesday in Wilm ington Hospital.
